What's included
What you can run on Member Lantern
Try everything free for 14 days. Each piece is built for volunteers, with help on every screen.
What comes with your plan
Everything marked Included comes with every plan. Add-ons are all included in your trial. After that, Lantern includes one add-on and Beacon includes all of them. See Pricing.
Website (included)
Pages that can't break
Build pages from a short list of blocks: a banner, text, a photo, two columns, a form, your upcoming events, your officers. Nothing drags around loose. On a phone the columns stack by themselves.
News and announcements
Post articles, group them by topic, and show the latest on your home page.
Your name, logo and colors
Pick a color theme or set your own. The admin checks that your colors are readable before you publish.
Menus, footer and redirects
Point old links at new pages so nothing on the bulletin board goes dead.
Update it from your phone (included)
The admin is built for a phone first. Change the meeting time, add a photo or post a notice from the parking lot after the meeting if you have to. Every screen has a ? that explains what it does in plain words.
Photos and media (included)
Members send photos in
Print a QR code for the bulletin board. Members scan it, enter a short PIN and send in photos from the dinner. You approve them and they're on the site.
Gallery sets
Group photos into albums: the installation, the parade, the fish fry.
Google Drive
Already keep photos in a shared Drive folder? Show that folder on your site.
Officers, rosters and forms (included)
Rosters by year
Record who holds office each year. Set a page to show the latest roster and it updates when the new officers are entered. Nobody re-edits it each year.
Forms
Contact forms, membership inquiries, volunteer sign-ups. Answers are saved for you and emailed to whoever should see them. Bots are blocked automatically.
Admin accounts you can hand on
Add the incoming secretary, remove the outgoing one. The site belongs to the organization, not to whoever set it up.
Documents (included)
Bylaws, minutes, procedures and forms in one library. Each document can be public, members-only, or admins-only. Print a QR code for any page so a flyer can point straight to it.
Events and sign-ups (add-on)
One event, many dates
A monthly breakfast is one event with twelve dates. Set a seat limit for each date.
Registrations and headcount
Members and guests sign up on your site. You see who's coming and how many.
Door check-in
Open the event on a phone at the door and check people in. Your headcount is right before the first plate goes out.
Google Calendar
Sign in with Google and pick the calendar to show on your site.
Cash register and stock (add-on)
Big buttons, quick sales
Set up buttons for what you sell. Tap, take the money, make change. Comps and voids are a tap away, and every sale is recorded.
Cash sessions
Open the drawer at the start, close it at the end. The total is there for the treasurer.
Stock and profit
Record what you bought, count what's left at the end of the period, and see what you made. A kitchen crew can run it, and the numbers hold up in an audit.
Building and maintenance (add-on)
Vendors
The plumber, the roofer, the elevator company: names, numbers and what they did last.
Equipment list
The boiler, the kitchen hood, the fire panel, the sign out front: model, age, service schedule.
Maintenance schedule and log
Recurring tasks and inspections with reminders, and a log of completed work. When a trustee steps down, the building's history stays.
Connections
These work today: Google Calendar, Google Drive, your own email sender (so messages come from your organization) and Cloudflare bot protection on forms.
These are being built: online dues and payments (Stripe, PayPal), newsletters, text message reminders, and posting to Facebook and Instagram. We say "coming soon" only when it's actually being built.
